Spatial extraction of TIG welding shop for stainless steel materials at Promat CZ

At Promat CZ, we implemented a modern solution for spatial extraction of emissions arising from TIG welding of stainless steel materials. The aim of the project was to ensure the effective removal of pollutants from the welding process, improve the quality of the working environment and at the same time optimize the energy consumption of the entire system.

The chosen concept is based on a spatial extraction system in combination with an air-conditioning recovery unit. Unlike commonly used commercial systems with local filter units, this solution represents a significantly simpler, more economical and more effective option. The system does not require complex maintenance of filter media and minimizes operating costs while maintaining high extraction efficiency.

The key advantage of the installation is ensuring up to 6 air changes per hour, with 100% air change in the welding room. This guarantees a stable and safe working environment without the accumulation of harmful emissions.

In addition, the integration of the recovery unit ensures the effective use of waste heat, which significantly reduces the energy consumption of operation. The result is a modern, environmentally friendly and economically advantageous solution that fully meets the requirements of today's industry.

This project confirms that properly designed spatial extraction can be not only technically more efficient than traditional filtration systems, but also a more sustainable choice for industrial operations in the long term.
