Suction of a single-purpose machine for the technology of bonding hose braids at Fräenkische CZ s.r.o.

In 2023, we implemented a technical solution for Fräenkische CZ, s.r.o. focused on dust extraction generated during the handling of semi-finished products in the process of gluing hose braids. The aim of the project was to ensure a clean working environment, stable production quality and at the same time meet the strict requirements for industrial extraction of fine polyester fibers.

Source of pollution and technical challenge

The technology of gluing hose braids releases fine dust from polyester fibers. This dust tends to spread around the workplace, settle on machine parts and negatively affect ergonomics and work hygiene. The key challenge was to capture the dust directly at the point of its creation without interfering with the smoothness of the production process.

Individual suction nozzle solutions

We chose extraction and filtration equipment, complete with specially designed suction nozzles. These were custom-made using 3D printing, which allowed for precise adaptation to the geometry of the single-purpose machine and the airflow at critical points in the process. This makes dust extraction highly efficient and local – the dust is captured before it is dispersed into the hall space.

Filtration and return of air to the hall

The extracted air is fed into a compact filter device with multi-stage dust filtration. The industrial filtration used reliably captures fine polyester fibers and allows the safe exhaust of the cleaned air back into the production hall. This solution reduces energy losses and contributes to sustainable operation.
