For Constellium Extrusions Děčín s.r.o. we delivered a cyclone separator designed for the extraction of sawdust generated during the cutting of aluminum profiles in the primary production technology.
The goal of the project was the effective extraction of sawdust directly from the saw's working tool, which improved the working conditions of the technology and at the same time increased the productivity of the cutting process. The installed cyclone separator operates with an extraction volume of 1,750 m³/h and ensures reliable separation of aluminum sawdust from the air.
The separated material is continuously discharged from the cyclone via a rotary feeder into a connected collection container. The system is controlled in ON/OFF mode with a link to the operation of the primary technology, which ensures automatic operation of the extraction only during the saw operation.
The proposed solution allows maintaining an acceptable level of pollution in the vicinity of the working tool and limits the sedimentation of sawdust in the technology area. The implementation thus contributed to more stable operation of the saw, higher production efficiency and improvement of the operating environment at the workplace.
