Delivery of a welding fume extraction system for a robotic line – Agrostroj Pelhřimov a.s.
TIGENG s.r.o. delivered an air-conditioning system for welding fume extraction on a robotized welding line for Stoll front loader arms at Agrostroj Pelhřimov. The aim of the project was to ensure effective removal of welding emissions, a stable working environment and at the same time create an energy-efficient and economically advantageous solution in line with modern trends in automated production.
The robotized welding line is located in an enclosed space with a volume of approximately 4,600 m³, which is separated from the surrounding hall by a covering structure. The basis of this installation is a lightweight aluminum structure combined with the AMF VENTATEC cassette ceiling system. The filling of the individual fields is made of transparent polycarbonate sheets, which allow sufficient light penetration and at the same time create a defined technological space with optimized air flow.
The extraction of welding fumes is ensured by a system of powerful fans and an air duct system terminated by suction diffusers located in the line area. Thanks to the concept of an enclosed space and controlled air flow, emissions are very effectively captured directly at their source, which allows the system to operate with optimized volumes of extracted air.
The supply of fresh air is realized through supply air units located on the exterior of the production hall. In winter, the supply air is intelligently mixed with air from the hall interior according to the required temperature in the installation area. This solution significantly reduces the energy consumption of the operation and minimizes heat losses associated with ventilation.
The entire air conditioning system is controlled automatically based on time programs, which allows its operation to be fully adapted to the production cycle of the robotized line. Automation of the operation together with the optimized volume of the ventilated space brings significant economic benefits and long-term sustainable operating costs.
The implemented solution represents a progressive, modern and to a certain extent unconventional approach to the extraction of welding fumes in the environment of automated mechanical engineering production. The combination of technological cover of the production space, controlled air flow and intelligent air conditioning control allows achieving high extraction efficiency while optimizing energy requirements. The project thus represents an example of a modern technical solution that effectively responds to the growing demands for work safety, quality of the working environment and economy of operation in industrial production.
